^^ 4001 (AGA) EXPLORER [DELIGHT]
This is a rubbish demo at first but about half way through it bursts
into flowers with some very good AGA plasmas, scrolls, and fractals
which all make it worth while. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4002 REBELS [PRURIENT]
This is a classic demo in style and old in effects. The effects here
are nothing new at all but nevertheless it is still a good demo.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4003 SENSITIVE
This is a game in which you have to move your blob around different
mazes without falling in the drink. There are certain tactics that
must be used as the floor falls away beneath you so there is only one
correct route. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4004 DELON [FINAL CONDOM]
A good demo with all the usuall effects and tricks. The music is what
makes this one stick out. The main tune is a hip hop groove (full
lirics) and the closing titles are accompanied by a rendision of
Maxx's Getaway. Very good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4005 BETON [RUMBLE BUBBLE]
This demo is quite good. The demo is built up of short routines based,
mainly, around 3D and ray traced objects. Also there is a good
spinning tunnel routine. Good music. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4006 SCHNEBITZ
This is a cartoon style puzzle game in which you must guide Schnebitz
through each puzzle by moving certain coloured blocks into their
correct positions. Good graphics and game play.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4007 STARWOIDS (AB)
This is a very well presented arcade game. The game is meant to be
like StarWars. There are lots of well drawn logos, menus and even a
short intro which give this game a professional feel. The actual
gameplay itself is not quite as exiting but still very addictive. You
have to thrust around in your X-Wing collecting troops on the ground.
Good graphics. Very good.

Is an excellent game in which you play the role of a superfast moving

If you like tetris games then get this. This is the best tetris game
that I've ever played on the Amiga. The graphics are great and the

two player mode is superb. Very good.

This disk is an excellent set of fantasy artwork. The pictures

or shown via an automatic slideshow. Excellent.

the graphics match it perfectly. Very good.

This is a small quarter-screen HAM Interlace test animation of a
pteradactyl in flight flapping its wings, opening its mouth and
turning its head from side to side. It shows the use of the Bones
feature in Imagine V3.0 to articulate once static objects. It could
be easily made to wiggle its feet, blink its eyes, and even land and
hop with very little effort. The test anim was done at
quarter-screen to keep the size down. I suggest using ViewTek at F7
speed for viewing. Author Ted Stethem.

Roach Farm customers may stock their farms with livestock. During
your work day, you are presented with test tubes of varying sizes,
each containing an arbitrary number of roaches. They arrive from the
breeding centers this way (center workers tend to scoop up random
numbers of roaches). You are then presented with an invoice form
which lists the quantities of roaches that customers have ordered.
The first roach quantity on the invoice is for the tube on the top,
the second quantity is for the tube second from the top, and so on.

an arsenal of nuclear weapons and attack the opposition. Very well
done. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4123 SANTA & RUDOLF
An excellent game in which you can either play the part of Santa or
Rudolf. You have to collect presents and shoot dodgy little snow men
in order to keep Christmas alive. Great music, brilliant graphics and
fun gameplay. Very very good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4124 STAR WARS CARDSET
A set of card graphics for the Klondike games. This set is based on
Star Wars. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4125 THE MAD PREACHER
A music disk comprising of four tunes including two mixes of The Mad
Preacher which is good. All four tunes are created using Octamed v5.0.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4126 FUNKY CARTOONS
Another music demo. Only two tunes on this one and some quite nice
accompanying graphics. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4127 ARTHUR
A text adventure based around the story of Arthur (soon to be King
Arthur) and the Quest for Excaliber (the sword in the stone). You
play the part of young Arthur and Merlin guides you through your
quest. There are still graphics for each location and a hint menu.
Very good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4128 GREEN 5
This game seems at first to have the feel of Another World. This is
due to the lengthly and very well animated intro. In fact the
gameplay of this game is that of a platform beat'em up. You a ninja
type character must battle against other ninjas and plenty of other
enemies. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4129 COLONIAL CONQUEST II
This is a strategy game which is based heavily on the game
Civilisation. The idea of the game is to spread your civilisation
through the 26 planets of the universe map and to defend it from
other civilisations by building weapons and war ships. One or two
player. Very good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4130 ISLAND
This is an Amiga version of the boardgame Hotel. It can only be
played by two players and the aim of the game is to buy and build an
empire of Hotels until you force the other player into bankruptcy.
Good graphics. Very good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4131 MANGLED FENDERS
A very fun game. Select your vehicle from the choice of six (tank,
porsche, dustbin van, lamborgini, minibus, and another sportscar,)
and then pit your wits against the others in a ring! Yes you must
attempt to smash up all the other cars before they smash you. Great
fun. Good graphics.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4132 NANOFLY V1.05
You pilot the Nano Fly in to the Nano-Tech Tower and hopefully out
again. It is no easy ride though. While inside your aim is to
destroy as many of the purple floppy disks as possible. There are a
number of items to help you. These include extra flies, energy
replacers, rocket decoys, restart points and various other stuff.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4133 CHESS PROGRAMS
This disk contains demo versions of 4 chess utility programs written
by Bill Jordan, Australian national master and FIDE master. The
author has extensive experience in coaching and has written a chess
course for Stott's Correspondence college. CHESSPUZZLES contains
only one file of puzzles (Mate in 1 in Level 1) This option will
always be selected. The full version has about 1500 puzzles of
varying difficulty. CHESSLIBRARY only has one file of openings, the
Alekhines defence. The full version has about 1000 lines in all, in
addition to a section on opening traps. CHESSRATER has only one game
you can test yourself on. The full version has 40 games.
CHESSDATABASE has one master game you can play over, and the option
to save games to disk is disabled.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4134 (AGA) DOOM ENGINE AMIGA
We have seen many DOOM engines in Amiga, but almost all of them are
crap. This one uses 256x200 and 192x160 size windows with 256 colors
and needs 68020+ and AGA. This engine is not ready yet, but we have
to finish our demo and wanted to release this now before anyone else
does so. Some features of our engine: - Speedy - Working doors -
Objects - Lightsourcing by distance - Transparent walls - Animated
walls and objects - Floor and ceiling This preview uses at this
moment plain raycasting system used in Wolfenstein (ID Software) so
it is quite simple and we are going to do a more complex version but
it takes time and has low priority at this moment. We use two chunky
to planar converters (One optimized for 020 and one for 040) which
are PD but not our work. Requires use of LHA which is provided on the
disk.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4135 CULT AND FANTASY TV THEMES II
Back again, the second part of this series entitled the ITC Classics
has tunes which are closely linked to the original themes. These
tracks are not 100% sampled they are very well made modules which
combine some great samples with the actual tune to create six
excellent tracks. These are Space 1999, Captain Scarlet, Danger Man,
The Persuaders, The Protectors, and UFO. Great.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4136 A MELONCHOLY MOMENT. [DOCTOR QE]
Here we have five great tracks, three of which are composed by the
author. One of the tracks is cover version if you like of the Genesis
tune Mama. The other is just a tune with no author. All the tracks
are well put together and the music is of a good quality and it is
original. As usual the disk is put together with some great titles
and graphics as well. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4137 BONANZA
This is a games compilation. All three games can be run from
workbanch. BattleSheep is a WB game which is identical to battleships
except it is based on sheep instead of ships. Good fun. Milestones is
a board game in which you have to reach exactly 1000 miles before the
computer does. Tanx n Stuff is a classic multiplayer split screen
tank shoot'em up in which up to four players can go around blowing
each other up. Great.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4138 SPEEDWAY DEMO - ENGLANDS CHALLENGE
This is a first. This demo is a managerial stratergy game for teams
of speedway riders. You have to select a team of 5 riders from the
rated list and then have them race against the best of the
internationals. A good addictive game.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4139 (AGA) ROKETZ
This game is superb. Roketz is a two player racing game with a slight
difference. Your vehicles are space craft which manouvre just as
space craft do in games like thrust, except you have to get the thing
round a course! The graphics are dazzling as they are nearly all
raytraced and the gameplay and sound effects are spot on. Excellent.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4140 PVFC ISSUE 1
PVFC is a disk magazine. There are quite a lot of articles included
in this first addition covering a variety of subjects. These include
humour and non humour and misc. Not bad. Created with Magnetic Pages.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4141 FRACAS
An excellent two player game. This game is based around Star Wars
like walkers (you know two legged robots that walk like chickens).
With split screen you must walk around the level in search of the
other player who you must destroy. Great 3D graphics.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4142 TEAM TETRIS
This is essentially a tetris clone as you might have guessed but for
one major difference. This version is two player only and unlike
normal tetris games there is no split screen, you must play together
as a team! Great.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4143 TOTAL DOMINATION
This is a new game written in Blitz Basic 2. It is based untirely on
another PD game called Universial Conquest. Two players play against
each other for control of `The Galaxy', which is a grid of cells,
some of which contain planets. You each start play holding one planet,
and the aim of the game is, over a number of turns, to end up
holding more planets than your opponent. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^* 4144 NEW WORLD EXPLORATION
In New World, you play the role of an early explorer, setting out
from Europe to face the unknown. Armed with a loan from the crown,
you must equip an expedition and sail west in search of the New World.
Once you find it, you must deal with the natives there. Whether
you will trade peacefully or attempt a conquest is up to you, but you
must live with the consequences of your actions!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4145 SUPER BATTLE ZONE 3D
The main objective of this game is to kill as many objects as
possible while avoiding their bullets. In the right hand corner you
will see what we call radar and the small dot on it represents the
enemy that you suppose to destroy. One way of doing it is to turn so
he's in the middle of the screen (or right in front of you on the
radar) and shoot by pressing fire. If you fail to kill the sucker
for some reason (as it is possible as he moves, turns around and your
bullets have limited range) you should repeat the above procedure.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4146 STAR FIGHTER (AB)
A cool 3d space flight simulator with more then 50 missions!!.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4147 STAR FIGHTER (B)
Disk 2 of 2
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4148 (AGA) MANGA ANIMATED BABES!
Babewalk.anim7 is a simple animation created using a Manga Babes
model with states animation in Imagine 3.0. The anim is in HAM8
Anim7 format, so you'll need a viewer such as Viewtek or Mainview and
an AGA-capable Amiga to display the anim.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4149 ZUT ALORS I AND II
Included on this disk are two text adventures. Zut Alors I was first
released in 1991 and appeared on a cover disk. Now that the sequal
has been produced both games have been released together with a
spectrum snapshot of the original game as well! The game is all about
a bloke named Cyrano de BurgerBar who happens to be french which is
why he lives in paris where he strives to join the musketeers. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4150 FISHY FISHY
A good little game in which you are a small fish. As time goes on and
you've eaten a few crabs and then eels and then starfish etc you will
start growing bigger and bigger until you can eat everyone up. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4151 BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD SLIDESHOW
This is a slideshow of the well known cartoon characters featured on
MTV. The slideshow is not just artwork it is more like a cartoon
strip. Not bad.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4152 BRAINSTORM DEMO
This is a game programmed in Amos. The idea is to complete jigsaw
puzzles of various different things. Surprisingly difficult. Quite
addictive. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4153 GROOVY GAMES III
Here we have a compilation with a few small games which all come
under the title of Clones. There is AmigaDefender with vector type
graphics (as with the arcade original). Q-Bic is a clone of a console
game Q-Bert. There is a space invaders clone. There is also a Missile
Command game. There is a ping pong game called Poing. Finally there
is Bally 3 which is an old arcade classic as well. Very good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4154 GROOVY GAMES IV
This games compilation includes three very good games. Croak is a
clone of the classic Frogger game which can be found on virtually all
computer platforms somewhere. You have to make it across the road and
the river to the safty of your lilly pad. Great. Welltrix is an
excellent game for fans of tetris. This is not a clone it is a
complete remake which uses a different concept of game play. The
blocks fall down all four sides of a bow shape and form on the base.
This is hard to explain but it is very good. Amiga Columns is a clone
of the console game and works very well. Align the colours of blocks
to score points. Very good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4155 (AGA) DR WHO CARDSET
This is yet another great card set for the popular game Klondike AGA.
These cards are obviously Dr Who ones!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4156 (AGA) RETURN OF THE JEDI CARDSET
This is yet another great card set for the popular game Klondike AGA.
The theme for this set is the movie Return of the Jedi.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4157 (AGA) EMPIRE STRIKES BACK CARDSET
This is yet another great card set for the popular game Klondike AGA.
The theme for this cardset is the film The Empire Strikes Back.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4158 WEAPON MASTERS [DIGITAL NINJA]
This demo game coded by Digital Ninja is very good. It is a one or
two player fighting game in which both players fight with weapons.
You start out fighting with a sword and there is no lack of blood
when you get down to messing with player two (be it your mate or the
computer). Good graphics, sound and music.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4159 TMA
This game is, according to the author, based on the style of gameplay
which was produced by the Ultimate serires on the ZX Spectrum. It is
quite simple. Guide your ship through the passages collecting power
crystals and avoiding aliens. Great.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4160 9 FINGERS [SPACEBALLS] (AB)
This is a rave demo which a lot of people have been chatting about
recently. 9 Fingers is almost entirely made up digitised people
dancing along to the soundtrack. These routines are very clever and
are better than anything else of a similar style on the scene. It is
a very good and original demo.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4161 9 FINGERS [SPACEBALLS] (B)
Disk 2 of 2
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4162 POWERTETRIS V1.12
You can choose which type of game you are going to play Classic for
linear game, Custom for 25-level game and duel or two
player-competition mode play. The rules are the classical Tetris(R)
ones: The point is to makes full lines with geometrical pieces.
Each finished line destroys itself and drags down all that is on its
top. You lose when you reach the top of the screenplay.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4163 (AGA) MAXIMIM OVERDRIVE2 (ABC)
This three disk demo is outstanding. Most of it consists of a movie
that has been dithered down to lowres and turned monochrome. The film
shows the three heros taking part in the StarWars films. After the
five minute show comes a whole load of other effects including some
excellent dot vectors and the like. Very Good.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4166 (AGA) DIRT
This AGA demo is full of a lot of dot vectors. In fact virtually the
whole demo is dot vectors. However these are good dot vectors and
there are a number of normal vectors in between as well.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4167 (AGA) BADZOOM
This demo claims to AGA but there is nothing in it to show this at
all. However it is quite a long demo with many different effects
(especially scrolls) which would be of interest to some people.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4168 (AGA) REAL [COMPLEX]
This demo starts off with the good stuff like rotating cubes with
pixel zooms on each side of each cube. The following effects are
pretty standard megademo type routines. All the effects in this demo
have good graphics and a it has a good soundtrack.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4169 (AGA) KEFRENS AGA INTRO
This is only a brief production which has only a few effects. These
are very good mind you. There is for example a 20,000 dot vector in
128 colur AGA. Short but impressive.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4170 (AGA) OXYGENE
This is a good demo. There are plenty of features including some very
good still graphics and a good soundtrack. There are also the
standard vectors etc as well. Very good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4171 (AGA) ILEX [MYSTIC]
A very good AGA demo from Mystic. There are some very original
effects included in this demo as well as some of the best dot vectors
I have seen. The soundtracks too are very good. Good all round
quality. Excellent.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4172 (AGA) MIND OMISTAN
Well heres something different! This demo is infact a pop video for a
band. The graphics are nearly all digitised and converted into lowres
monachrome images of the band members playing their respective
instruments. Very good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4173 VENGEANCE
This is a superb music demo. It not only has eight great tunes to
listen to but it is great fun to use because of the front end system
which is a two deck hifi system which can be fully controlled by you.
There is a graphic equaliser plus dolby and many other features.
Great.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4174 DYNAMO (AB)
This is a very good music disk. There are about a dozen tunes in all
which are all of a good standard. The style of music is basically pop.
There is a great front end menu and good graphics. Excellent.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4175 DYNAMO (B)
Disk 2 of 2
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4176 RAVE NATION (AB)
This is a music disk with eight great tunes. They are all techno
sounds so if you don't like techno you won't like this much but
nevertheless all the tunes are of a high standard when it comes to
samples etc. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4177 RAVE NATION (B)
Disk 2 of 2
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4178 UNO [LEGO]
A superb slideshow of fantasy artwork. These pictures are of a very
high quality indeed and there are quite a few to look at on this disk
which runs an autoslideshow or you can select from minimized black
and white versions of the main pictures. Very good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+K 4179 ARCADE CLASSICS 1 [K]
This is a great compilation of classic arcade game clones. In this
first volume there are four superb games. Omega Race is a vector
graphics thrust and blast game which gets harder and harder as you
progress through each level. Frogger is a classic game in which you
must guide a frog across a busy road and then a river to his lilly
pad. Asteroids is the game in which you shoot asteroids. As you do
this they break up into smaller piececs which also need blasting.
Q-Bert is a game played diagonally on a set of steps. Great.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+K 4180 ARCADE CLASSICS 2 [K]
The second volume of this compilation series bring you four more
superb arcade classics. Space Invaders is clone of the ultimate
classic arcade game. Pacman is another game which everybody knows.
Centipede is a game in which you must shoot the centipedes. Each time
you hit one it get a section shorter until only the head is left.
Missile Command is a game in which you must guard your city from on
coming missiles. Excellent.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4181 (AGA) FRIDAY AT EIGHT [POLKA BROTHERS]
This is a very good demo. There are lots of good effects which
admittedly are not all that original but the way they are presented
and the overall style is good. The soundtrack is also very good.
Excellent.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4182 (AGA) ATOM
This is a small intro but it is a packed one at that. It starts off
with a great raytraced anim which is displayed in a moving window and
in low res as a backdrop. Then there are a set of superb AGA plasmas
which are displayed in greyscale. Excellent.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4183 (AGA) DENTAWOLF
This is yet another Wolfenstein demo for the Amiga. A very simple
rendition of the PC game which has a few walls to walk between and
not much else!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4184 (AGA) NAXIS
Here is a new idea. This AGA demo shows you the colours which your
A1200/A4000 can display when using it's superb AGA chipset. Not a lot
to this one I'm afraid.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+K 4185 VIRTUAL WORLDS [K]
This demo is all about 3D graphics. There are many different 3D
objects such as aeroplanes and spaceships. The second part of the
demo is a about a spacecraft making a voyage to the surface of a
planet where it then drops something in the sea and then returns home.
More like an animation than a demo. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4186 GORY CHRISTMAS [DIGITAL NINJA]
This release for christmas is a beat'em up. Up to four players can
take part in this game which has a lot of blood and gore so may not
be suitable for small children. There are all sorts of special moves
which let the blood run free. Great.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4187 JIGSAW DEMO
This shareware demo is a fully playable jigsaw game. Jigsaw auto
detects AGA machines and uses them to their full ability by the use
of AGA pictures for the jigsaw. There are many different types of
jigsaws with different numbers of pieces etc. Multiple players. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4188 MIXER VOLUME 1
This is a music disk with eight modules which are quite original.
They don't follow any particular style of music but they generally
have guitar sounds in them. A great front end which plays a sample as
you select each song. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4189 (AGA) SUB.1 #$7FD1 (ABCD)
Stupid name, great demo. This demo comes on four disks and must be
installed to a hard drive before running. The demo is pretty long and
has many effects including a smart tunnel routine. There are also
some great raytraced stills and much much more. Great.

^+ 4197 DOCTOR WHO: THE SIXTIES 1
This is really a magazine. The disk contains a large amount of
information about the Doctor Who series when Hartnell starred as the
Doctor. There are facts, figures and photos to do with Hartnell, his
co stars and the episodes themselves. Very good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4198 DOCTOR WHO: THE SIXTIES 2
The second volume of the Doctor Who guides. This edition is mainly
concerned with Doctor Who when he was played by Troughton. Again
there is a lot of facts and figures about the serires and the actors.
Includes good photos etc. Very good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4199 (AGA) BODYSHOP 3
This disk has five 256 colour AGA photos of models in swimming
costumes. Good quality pictures.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4200 (AGA) BODYSHOP 4 (AB)
There are about a dozen photos in all of different women in swimming
costumes. Excellent full 256 colour AGA images. Good.

great rollar coaster effect and a good 32 colour transparent spining
diamond thingy. Very good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4203 CD32 ANIM (AB)
This is a two disk animation which requires two meg RAM. The
storyline is very clever and involves the Star Trek crew examining
and complimenting(?!?!?) the CD32 which they have had installed. Full
sampled soundtrack taken from the movies etc. Great.

a good readme section. If you like classical music then take a look
at this. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4206 MELON DEZIGN SLIDESHOW
On this disk there are about twenty superb pieces of artwork. These
pictures cover various styles; such as, cartoons, fantasy imagery and
graphical design. Excellent.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4207 COMIC-ART #3
There are quite a lot of pictures in this slideshow of comic book
characters. Before you get the wrong idea we are not talking Dennis
the Menace but the likes of Batman, Wolverine and the Predator etc.
Very good drawings.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4208 A TASTE OF U4IA [MEGAWATTS]
This is a very good music disk. Although there are only five modules
I think that most people would rate them well. Good quality sampling
etc make these tunes sound professional. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4209 (AGA) WIT PREMIUM [FREEZERS]
A good AGA demo. There are many interesting routines in these demos
which show off the Amigas talents. Some superb still artwork also
included. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ 4210 (AGA) DO YOU BELIEVE [INFECT] (AB)
This is another great production from Infect. There are loads of
great routines as well as a very good soundtrack. It should be said
that although this demo runs on a standard 2Mb machine extra RAM will
entitle you to see a very good animation. Good.

bad.

^+ 4218 IN THE DEAD OF THE NIGHT (ABC)
This is a superb game. You play the part of a detective who is
staying in a mountain chalet with an interesting group of actors. One
particular actress is murdered and you must find the killer. This is
a very good graphic adventure which has all the options and good
graphics that you would expect from a commercial game. You can move
around the house and ask each person questions and search rooms etc.
It reminds me of Cruise for a Corpse. Very good.

This is an excellent game. You have a group of people called the
Chaneques who each have a different skill. Using them you must get an
object througha port hole at one end of the level. The game play is
rather like lemmings as you must make bridges and dig tunnels etc to
allow one of the Chaneques to push the object to it's destination.
Great graphics and music. Very good.

well. Programmed in Blitz 2 (I think) this game is full of
professional touches. The graphics are very good the music is even
better. This is a great shoot'em up.

^^ 4228 (AGA) JINX (AB)
Here we have a very very good game. Jinx is a puzzle game which
involves two characters which are both controlled by the one player.
You have to try and collect up crystals and then find the exit for

jump from one platform to another collecting allsorts of power ups

This is a good game which rather reminds me of boulderdash. You have

which may drop on your head. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

^^ 4243 (AGA) FEARS
This game is a Doom clone. You walk around the level shooting baddies
and collecting food, keys and ammo. The game is played as though you
can see through the eyes of the character as you blast your way about
the place. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4244 OBSTICKLE
This is a very good game. You have to control a bouncy ball and
bounce it around the levels collecting items in order to open the
port hole to the next level. Great graphics, sound and playability.

make your own. Very good.

A very good looking game. Seemingly based around StarWars this game

enemies with your trusty light sabre when you stop at space stations.
Very good graphics and sound effects. Very good.

^+ 4272 COW WARS V1.1
Okay readers, this one's pretty simple. Cow Wars is a two player
game the object of which is to blow up your opponent before he or she
can blow you up. Each player must lob 3 different cows (one glass,
one real, and one styrofoam) over a mountain and land them on the
other player. Which cow a player has to lob is a function of
providence so don't go trying to select one cow over another. When
all three cows have found their mark the game ends, but any cow in
the air has a chance to land so ties are possible.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ 4273 CYBERSPHERE PLAYABLE
The object of the game is to bounce a ball against bricks, destroying
them and accumulating points. The ball must not make its way past
your paddle, which you control using a mouse or joystick/control pad.
Whenever the ball hits your paddle, it bounces back up at an angle
relative to the position that the ball hits the paddle at. Knowing
this, the ball can be aimed at targets, and with a little practice
this becomes easy. Each board consists of an arena with walls and
bricks. In single player games, the paddle is at the bottom of the
arena which is open. In dual player games, player 1's paddle is at
the bottom and player 2's paddle is at the top.

the instructions. Good though.

^+ 4285 TOP HAT WILLY V1.2
Nowadays a platform game means something that scrolls in eight
directions at 50hz speed, has power-ups and jump-on-a-monster-to-

8-bit-style platform games such as Jet Set Willy or Monty Mole.

With these two criteria in mind, I set about writing Pro-Gamble,
mainly for my own use. As the program developed though, it`s power
became more obvious, and I decided to release it as a shareware

^+ V1531 (AGA) SPECTRUM EMULATOR V1.35
Well, maybe you have guessed that this program is a Sinclair ZX
Spectrum 48k emulator, with all those lovely attributes and only one
channel of 1 bit sound (sob...). This is a very very ßeta version.
It is unfinished, but I have decided to release it with the aim that
the people test the emulator (and love it, or maybe hate it...) and
give me their opinion and ideas about it. Actually this emulator is
mainly a hack, that access directly to the AGA hardware. The final
version will be much more friendly (as much friendly as I can manage
to do it) with the operative system and with the hardware. This
program needs WorkBench 3.0 (v39) or higher to run, the AGA chipset
and a 68020 CPU, or better. In short, an Amiga 1200 or 4000. It
needs the powerpacker.library too, to load the compressed Spectrum
programs, in LIBS: or in the same directory of the executable. Is
VERY convenient that you have 32 bits FAST memory. With FAST memory
the speed, and the sound, will be A LOT better.

^^ V1552 MAGIC USER INTERFACE V2.2
MUI is an object oriented system to create and maintain graphical
user interfaces. From a programmers point of view, using MUI saves a
lot of time and makes life much easier. Thinking about complicated
terms like window resizing or font sensitivity is simply not
neccesary. On the other hand, users of MUI based applications have
the ability to customize nearly every pixel of a programs interface
according to their personal taste. This distribution is interesting
for both, users and programmers. Please have a look at the supplied
demo programs and at the documentation to see what MUI has to offer.
MUI is an SASG (Standardized Amiga Shareware Group) product.

^+ V1556 IMAGESTUDIO V1.0.1
is written for the casual graphics user who wishes to convert or
manipulate various graphics formats on a modest Amiga system. There
are several commercial offerings available, however the casual user
is paying a lot of money for many facilities and options they would
probably never use. Bitmap graphics, by their nature, usually require
large amounts of RAM. One of the main objectives of ImageStudio was
to reduce this burden by utilising virtual memory - most users have
more spare hard disk space than spare RAM.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^* V1559 TOASTER TEXTURES VOLUME 1
By Thomas Dawson. Contains Four Reflection Maps - These images
compliment the FractalReflections image the comes with LightWave.
Just like using different font styles to set the tone for a document,
using different reflection maps helps to set the mood and character
of your animations. All four of these reflection maps are seamless.
TWO BUMP MAPS - These were done with a science fiction theme. They
help you to create both an alien and the planet it came from. The
trick is to also use them as a diffuse map as well as a bump map.
Apply the OrganicArmor texture to a humanoid model to get one wild
looking alien. Apply the EnemyPlanet texture to a sphere to create my
version of the planet Metaluna from the movie This Island Earth.
Both of these images are seamless. NINETEEN SURFACES: twelve of
these are for the included reflection maps, two for the included bump
maps and five other procedural based surfaces are included.

^+ V1718 VIRUSWORKSHOP V4.7
Welcome to another new viruskiller on the Amiga. This virus-killer
was programmed to help you to get rid of all the viruses hanging
around. Its best and most useful virus killer program to date in my
view, takes over where BootX left off. VirusWorkshop handles a big
number of trojan horses, which try change the AmiExpress(C) mailbox
programm and it is ideal for users, who just want to check their
software in a very secure way for viruses and diskerrors.

enables you to run almost any program that runs on a ZX-Spectrum.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ V1725 EMPLANT'S MAC EMULATION V4.9
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ V1726 C64 EMULATOR [020]
This emulator focuses on the exact reproduction of special graphical
effects possible on the 64, and is therefore not very fast (using a
68040/25 and a Piccolo card gives about half of the original C64
speed). However, using a line-based VIC model, it is capable of
running most games and demos correctly, even those with FLI, FLD,
DYCP, open top/bottom borders, multiplexed sprites etc. (but not
AFLI and other effects depending on exact VIC/6510 synchronization).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ V1727 HARDWARE HACKS

cards and hard drive etc.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^^ V1728 (AGA) ROGER MCVEYS 16-COLOUR ICONS
These icons were beautifully drawn, and I must add that the originals
are the best icons I have seen on any system. In addition to the
original designs by Mr. McVey I have added a few other icons that I
have modified to accommodate the new 3.0 programs. They are
essentially images taken from other McVey icons with some different
colors or minor alterations. There may be a few duplicates in the
archive. I have also added some icons for other programs that I use,
and you may find them useful as well for your wordprocessing progam
icons, etc.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ V1729 CREATV-ICONS V1.0
A sample bunch of Drive-icons, Dock-icons (usable with e.g.
Toolmanager or as Tool-icons), default icons for use with the whatis.

the Magic-Workbench
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ V1730 ICONS & PREFERENCES IN HAM6/8
This package contains some icons for HAM6 and HAM6 Workbench. I
prefer HAM6 icons because they are shorter and Workbench displays
them faster. HAM8 icons don't seem to be much better than HAM6 icons.
And of course HAM6 icons are displayable an all Amigas (AGA - all
modes, OLD/ECS - only Lores).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Magic-Background-Collection with ten (not nine nor eleven $-)
brandnew backgrounds for your lovely Magic-Workbench. This time you
will get some 'winter-pictures' whith ice and snow 8!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ V1748 HYPER V1.19B
This excellent utility provides for those who wish to view AmigaGuide
data files. The main difference between this and the well known tools
of a similar purpose (Multiview) is that it can view power packed
files. Good.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
^+ V1749 BARNEY GOES CAMPING (AB)
This is a superb educational game for young children. Barney the Bear
takes you on a guided tour of the forest and teaches you all about
the different animals. There is a digitised narration and there is a
great feature which allows the user to take photos of the animals.
When the walk is over there is a section in which you can view the
photos you took and play some camp games as well. Very, very good.
